CERBAIR Solutions.
The HYDRA 100/ 200/300 are drone search radars that provide multi-directional finding capabilities in the high frequency band, using advanced signal processing and artificial intelligence algorithms to analyze the RF spectrum.
Detection
THYDRA sensors receive, digitize and analyze raw RF signals by scanning the RF spectrum utilization on the communication bands of the drone and its remote control .
This is a passive behavior, so there is no interference with the surrounding network. Our drone detection software uses artificial intelligence and detection algorithms to find unique patterns that define the drone/remote control communication protocols, thus effectively distinguishing the drone from other objects such as WiFi networks.
CERBAIR’s software processes all the information from the sensors and alerts the safety operator to the presence and location of the drone and its pilot. This information is displayed in a simplified and very ergonomic user interface to help the customer take the right action.
Neutralization
The flight of a drone relies on three channels:
An uplink to allow the pilot to fly the drone in real time
A downlink to transmit real-time video streams and telemetry Information to the pilot in real time.
Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) to help the drone locate itself in real time via satellites.
Intelligent jamming can block these communications by transmitting electromagnetic interference. As soon as a channel is jammed, its communication is interrupted. Intelligent jamming can either saturate all channels or select one of them to produce a specific effect (loss of video stream, return of the drone to its home position).
Once one or more of the channels are saturated
Once one or more channels are jammed, the drone automatically triggers the emergency procedures selected before takeoff:
Safe landing / Return to home base /
Hover until the battery is depleted, then automatically land safely.
